1. Scope
These terms apply to all orders through alpenpeptid.de between us (see the box above) and consumers or businesses. The contract languages are German and English.
2. Intended use of the products
All products are for laboratory research use only, and not for use in humans or animals. They are not medicines, foods or food supplements. When you order, you confirm this use and that you are at least 18 years old.
3. Formation of the contract
The presentation in the shop is not a binding offer. By clicking “Place binding order”, you make a binding offer. The contract is formed when we confirm your order by email or ship the goods. We store the contract text, and you receive your order details by email.
4. Prices, VAT and minimum order
All prices are end prices in euro and include the VAT of the destination country, plus shipping. Businesses from another EU state with a valid VAT ID are charged without VAT after a check (reverse charge). Deliveries outside the EU are without VAT, and any import charges are paid by the recipient. The minimum order is €200 of goods after discounts and before shipping.
5. Payment
You pay by SEPA transfer, Revolut or Bitcoin. For SEPA and Revolut, we send you the payment details by email. For Bitcoin, the address and amount appear on the order page. After paying, you enter the transaction ID there and upload a photo or screenshot of the payment receipt. If payment doesn’t arrive within 7 days of the payment details being sent, we may cancel the order. For payment by Bitcoin, we grant the discount on the goods value stated at checkout.
6. Delivery
We deliver to the countries listed in the shop, usually within 24 to 48 hours of receiving payment. Costs and delivery times are on the shipping and payment page. Please report transport damage within 48 hours, with photos. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.
7. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until paid for in full.
8. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a right of withdrawal. Details are in the withdrawal notice.
9. Warranty and liability
Statutory rights for defects apply. We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body and health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slightly negligent breach of essential contractual duties, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for use contrary to the intended use in section 2.
10. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only so far as it doesn’t remove the protection of mandatory provisions of the country where they live. If a provision is invalid, the rest of the contract remains valid.
