Lyophilisate in a glass vialAbout Incretin analogues
Incretin analogues are synthetic peptides modelled on the gut hormones GLP-1 and GIP. The literature describes liraglutide and semaglutide as GLP-1 receptor agonists, tirzepatide as a dual agonist at the GIP and GLP-1 receptors, and retatrutide as an agonist at three receptors: GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon. Acetyl GLP-1 + GIP adds a further combination to the range.
Chemically, most of these molecules are fairly large at around 30 to 40 amino acids. Liraglutide, semaglutide and tirzepatide are lipidated: a fatty acid side chain mediates binding to albumin. Amphiphilic peptides like these are more prone to aggregation in solution. They should be dissolved slowly, not shaken, and kept in low-binding tubes.
The peptides come as a lyophilisate in a glass vial in several sizes. Larger vials cost less per mg, and the price per mg is shown for every size. The pen version is a cartridge. Data comparisons such as retatrutide against tirzepatide set sizes, prices and documented substance data side by side.

Common questions
Is retatrutide the same as retatrutid?
Yes. Retatrutide is the English and retatrutid the German spelling of the same substance, with the code name LY3437943. The product page lists other common names.
Why are formula and CAS number missing for retatrutide and tirzepatide?
We only show substance data where a clear source exists. Where it doesn't, a dash appears instead of an unverified value.
What should I watch with storage?
Store the lyophilisate dry, cool and protected from light, usually at −20 °C for the longer term. Freeze solutions in aliquots. The lot's safety data sheet is the reference.
