Peptide glossary · Lab work and solutions
Vial
A small glass bottle with a rubber stopper and crimp cap. Peptides are lyophilised and shipped in it. The amount on the label is the declared fill, not automatically the net peptide amount.
In the lab
The lot number and expiry date on the label link the vial to its certificate of analysis. A storage box keeps vials in order and out of the light.
